Urdu Numbers
A PowerPoint activity to help kids learn to read and spell number words in Urdu... with a little song and dance for a change ;)
The 'lesson' is a sing-along song that's based on an English poem entitled 'One, two, three, four, five.... Once I caught a fish alive!'. And this is my attempt at translating it in Urdu!
Following the lesson there are 2 practice exercises to reinforce word recognition and spellings. The first one is a number-word matching activity while the second one requires the child to click on the correct letters to spell out the number-words.
The simple version of the game does not keep score; whereas, the scorable version shows the percentage of correct responses made by the student in each completed exercise... followed by motivating feedback!
